Yes, I would repeal it. It literally makes ZERO difference whether a blade can be deployed with a button press. I have dozens of knives that I can open one-handed just as quickly.

The problem is not tools, whether they be knives, guns, screwdrivers, or pressure cookers. Tools are not good or bad - they're just tools. The problem is PEOPLE - some people are bad, and lack morals and boundaries. Such people will do bad things, and if they can't get one tool, they'll get something else. And there's no shortage of tools that can hurt or even kill people. You can kill someone with a rock pretty easily, and there's no shortage of those, are there?

The real problem is that many people refuse to believe that people are the problem, and they are in denial when someone is clearly going off the rails. We even have people - politicians, people in the news media, etc. who incite and encourage such violence. That's the problem, not some tool.

Yea, I would repeal it. I think butterfly knives are included in that - unless that is state law I'm thinking of.

I think in some states crossbows are illegal also. They are perfectly legal in my state. They are popular with deer hunters.
