Yes, because I'm not working my dream job, just surviving, and it's embarrassing

No, because I'm making an honest living

No, because I'm doing what I love, and that's all that matters

If they treat me differently because of my job, they're not a good person anyway

• Where are you from? (Do you live in a upscale town or a shithole?)
• What do you do? (What's your income level or potential income level?)
• Do you like to travel? (Will you take me on expensive vacations?)

So yeah, men are judged by every woman they meet every day. Do I get upset with being asked what I do for a living? Yes, but not because I'm being judged. Because when I tell women the truth, their reactions can be over the top. They usually inundate me with questions I'm not in the mood to answer.

So I have 3 options...

• Lie to avoid my background entirely. Just sidestep the questions.
• Tell them the truth and end up in an hour long explanation about things I don't want to think about.
• Just end the conversation.

Most of the time I choose option 3. I end the conversation.
