Yes I think AI could run better (although AI does pick sides depending on who's inputting data but presuming it is programmed only to be as fair as possible). I think AI can work out the best and fairest systems without bias or emotion getting in the way. But that isn't to say it can be fair to all. Simply because that's not possible. It can only work on a utilitarian approach of the best overall in a bigger picture view point. But it would calculate on fairer terms than humans can who can't help but be influenced by their own perspectives or lack of perspective for others.

However AI is a tool. So it still needs human input to give output.

There would be no use of politicians. I genuinely think it will be the way things are in the future. And it can't be bribed either, so no corruption. Just objective logic and a purpose to better society.

I don't see a reason not to adopt it.
