Do you think AI can outsmart humans?

It will, but not anytime soon, probably in 100 years. Our brain is a complex computer in itself, and i firmly believe an artificial brain will come into existence, very hard but possible.
AI is generally superior at tasks that humans are not good at like looking at transactions and finding fraud. Humans, I think, will always be better at gray areas. The situations where there is no answer. That is where human brains will always excel. If there is not something to optimize against, AI will not outperform.
Smarter than any single Human, yes.
but as it only learns from humans and what humans have created, it will only become as smart as Humanity.
So far it would be impossible for an AI to learn problemsolving beyond humanity.
Unless we have sudden growth in our development of A. I, the world may only be taken over by them after any of our lifetimes since we haven't come close enough to make an A. I hella smart with a strong body to be capable of doing anything. Like most A. I today can't even open a door!

No. As it is 100% reliant on humans.
Even the smartest AI cannot do kickboxing, and its power plug can be pulled by any toddler, to boot.
Nope, all we have to do is to pull the plug and it is all over for them/it.
