It apparently is the total demolition of the East Wing, which caught me extremely off guard given everything. I guess I was optimistic that it was just a little construction work….
The White House is a museum, this is tearing down literal history. This is from a guy who claimed he cares about the history, won’t touch it, and be respectful, keep ballroom separate from the building, Jesus. Everything can be considered a security risk these days but if some evil doer wants to hit the White House with a missile AND has the capability to do that then I don’t believe any part of the White House could handle a direct hit. The White House wasn’t built to be a bomb shelter (it has a bomb shelter) but not the building itself.

I have been hearing their little heads explode. This will just end up being another win for President Trump. Video showing the new and improved Rose garden are quite impressive. I am sure the ballroom will be amazing. It is actually a little embarrassing that our President does not have a proper venue to hold state functions larger than 50 or 60 people.
