Would this affect your decision to watch or not a movie?

Either in a movie screen or streaming but you pay attention to the issue before deciding to watch it? Or it won't affect you and you will still watch it and go to the movies?

I had found that many movie goers pay a lot of attention to the personal life of the movie star and many times if the so called actor or actress personal life is shady or questionable they decide not to watch the movie, regardless if the movie will be entertaining because at the end they are just actor (a job like any other job) and they are to entertain a public not the public to get involved in their personal lives. So for many movie goers is important to know if a certain celebrity is republican or democrat, or if it supports jews, muslims, Jehova`s witness, christians, Mormons, etc or follows social issues that are cuestionables, this is jsut to name examples but there are many more issues out there.

To explain more. There is this known and famous and successful actor who will make a new movie next year with great cast. The actor seemed he had a personal serious issue with his ex many years ago and they got a divorce but the actor continues to be successful for his job not his personal life despite of his serious issue with his ex that was public knowledge. So he will have a new movie next year and some movie goers says "I won't watch a movie with that actor, he was unfaithful and mistreated his ex". Then other movie goer said on social media: "I won't watch a movie that includes a zionist (another actor from the cast)". It is like Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt examples, despite of how bad they are as parents (private personal life) they both continue to have success in their public life (not personal life) .

So it is it really important to be affected by the personal life of a celebrity before deciding to go and watch a movie or you just go to the movies or watch movies to b e entertained as simple as that you dont care about the celeb personal life, that is their issue not the public issue? Actors are there to entertain and tell stories through their public work.
