Each account will have $1000 in it and it is supposed to be an investment in our youth. It may encourage families to continue to save for the future.

7 moLOL Ah, here we go. Birth rates are down because women are afraid that the simplest complication may result in their deaths (in red states), the economy sucks, and even the right wing is "losing their religion". So here's a government bribe to make babies?
Only $1,000? It's another dumb ass idea from the folks at P-2025 because they're not getting baby traction. It's nothing that any parent can't do on their own and have greater flexibility and access to the funds in an emergency.
By accepting the government plan, the ONLY thing you accomplish IF you continue to fund it, is giving the government free money to use until the kid is 18! $1,000 is NOT worth having ZERO access to your own money, folks. Open that account with a reputable firm and you'll make that $1,000 bribe back in no time, AND you'll have full access to your money.
It's another sucker play grift from the King of Grifters.

@chickychickyparmparm And still, all you can do is dumb down the facts and make it about a what... a former President who is irrelevant to the conversation?
You see chicky girl, I don't give a shit if Jesus Christ had proposed this idea... it sucks. Every point I made is valid. It's a trap. WHY you are unable to evaluate it on it's FACE VALUE and just turn it into what you did, is simply stupid.
If ANYONE else had proposed this, I'd have said the same thing for the same reasons. You don't have access to your own money, and the bank gets to use it for free.
Why did you have say something so FUCKING stupid as to make yourself sound like a fool? It's a bad fucking idea. Open your dumb ass eyes and get past your love for Scumpie. - 7 mo
@chickychickyparmparm So you admit you can't evaluate the plan. You're a fucking idiot. If the Republicans came out with a health plan that worked, I'd support it. If the Republicans came out with a trade plan that worked, I'd support it. But they haven't.
You only say I'm full of shit because you know you are. You can't see beyond your own prejudice and stupidity. So I'll repeat because you are SUCH a FUCKING MORON... Any investment plan that limits YOUR personal ACCESS to YOUR money and FORCES YOU to rely on the investment strategy of its creator alone... is BULLSHIT. I don't care WHO the fuck suggests it.
Is it possible you can comprehend this, or do you just want to call me a liar because it makes you fell better. You really are a fucking idiot. - 7 mo
@chickychickyparmparm Idiot, don't tell me about things you don't know. Non-residents are not eligible for Medicaid, Medicare or any Federally funded health plan. The only thing they can get is emergency treatment in hospitals. This is my s. o.'s field and life's work, so please... admit that you don't know what the FUCK you're talking about and be quiet.
The Republicans do not "of course" have a plan for Health Care. By the way, Rand Paul hates Trump. There is NOTHING Trump has done or will do to reduce health care costs because he's beholding to the insurance and drug industry. Again, this is my so's field, and you have NO IDEA what the fuck you're talking about. You're just spewing Fox garbage.
Trump or more properly, P-2025, will NEVER agree to a single-payer system because it cuts out ALL their profits from the middle man that they OWN... namely, insurance companies. I really don't expect you to understand this. It's way over your head.
This is not your wheelhouse dude. The R's have been trying to bamboozle the public on health care for the past 50 years. That's why they're SO pissed off that Obamacare took hold and forced insurance companies to do things they didn't want to do, like cover pre-existing conditions. This is way over your head.
NOTHING the R's come up with will benefit the average American. Nothing. They don't want that. You really don't get it. - 7 mo
@chickychickyparmparm Like I said, you're a fucking idiot. You just are. Undocumented immigrants are not eligible for Medicaid. This has been established by federal law since 1996, which prohibits them from enrolling in federally funded health insurance programs.
If a STATE is providing undocumented persons with health benefits, ... wait for it you fucking moron... it's NOT under the Medicaid program, it's a state funded program. You want to bitch, go to that particular state. So, you're wrong yet again.
The "free market" for insurance is at work RIGHT NOW you dumb shit MF... that's why healthy 29 year old males are getting premiums of $900 a month to $1,900 a month because the subsidies ran out. You keep trying to talk to me about something you have NO FUCKING CLUE about. Why?
The "free market" you imagine exists is EXACTLY what created the health care cost crisis in the first place, you goddamn idiot. LOL This is actually comical. I didn't think anybody could be this fucking stupid about health care, but you proved me wrong.
What gives you BARGAINING leverage against insurance companies? Where's your leverage? Come on, a free market requires leverage. Where's your leverage?
And... What makes you even THINK for one fucking moment that Trump will do ANYTHING to hinder insurance company profits? Are you really this stupid? - 7 mo
@chickychickyparmparm You're full of shit. Totally. States have to account for Medicaid spending or they don't get it. Unlike your Republican colleagues who don't account for anything, states do. Again, you're blowing diarrhea out of your ass.
You're the fucking moron dude. The free market is what sent out ALL the premium raises without the subsidies. Who do you think did? Who do you idiotically THINK the free market IS?
You just have no fucking clue. Really you don't.
Compare the coverages offered by United, Aetna, Blue Cross, Centene. They're all basically the same coverage, same or similar rates. They're not in cahoots, they just know their power and they know people have no choice. There are no fucking UPSTARTS in the Health Care industry you moron. There's no one COMPANY that can get doctors to agree to accept LESS money for their services.
Of course insurers compete across state lines. What the Fuck does that have to do with anything at all? You think it stiffens competition? Lowers rates? Are you fucking dumb to understand that when an insurer doesn't choose to serve a particular area, it's because they know they won't make a profit in it !! LMAO. So guess what? You end up NO choice and the ONE insurer who IS there can charge you whatever the fuck they want, while you sit on your dumb ass and cry " but, but... the FREE MARKET!!"
My god, you are the fucking dumbest person I've ever talked to about this. - 7 mo
@chickychickyparmparm LMAO What the fuck do two procedures have to do with this conversation? LMAO You can't focus. One minute it's illegals getting free medicaid, now its plastic surgery? You're an absolute idiot. A real Trumper.

Trump is working towards low prices. He is importing beef from Argentina to bring beef prices down. He is still working to bring energy prices down which will bring down the price of any item that has to be transported by truck. I paid 9 bucks for 2. /18 packs of eggs.
Making prices go up is a lot easier than making them go down. bugsy Biden doubled the price of everything inn 4 years and he does not even have a functioning brain.

Well you're not thinking very well. Who manages this money... the government? What do they invest in? Is there a guaranteed return? What happens when the Trump administration is out and another takes over in 20 years and says "sorry, we do not honor this program. Here's you contributions back". There goes 20 years of investment interest for you that THEY keep and you get zero return.
This is a bad, bullshit idea and nothing more than a grift. The $1,000 is nothing but bait. - 7 mo
Something that long term would need cross party support. It would help millions of families that don't have a wad of cash they can risk on the stockmarket.
- 7 mo
@loveslongnails The money is in an account and it is invested by the government so it will grow. I am not sure what happens if the democrats somehow get elected and try to grab all the money and give it to illegal aliens.
- 7 mo
Doesn't matter who is in office. Trusting 'the government" to grow your assets is stupid. Now pay attention here Exit, because this is going to debunk your argument before you even make it:
** Was it NOT your dementia ridden psycho who, in his first term, along with all his sycophant Republiturds, who EXPLICITY stated that the best thing you can do instead of Social Security or any GOVERNMENT program for securing future wealth, is PRIVATE investment?
It was, and they did. So NOW, all of a sudden, a government backed, NO ACCESS ACCOUNT, absolutely NO GUARANTEED return... is a good thing? You don't know a damn grift when it shits on your head, Exit.

You're basically handing over money to felon Trumps cohorts, and there is no Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to oversee the legality of any of the dealings.
If the scheme folds, you lose all the money. It isn't a "bank account" at all, it's an under the table bond.

@katiesmuff If you look at his entire presidency, both the first and second terms and look at it objectively you will find the vast majority of his actions benefitted American citizens, especially taxpayers.
I challenge you to look at the list of Executive Orders signed by the Autopen president and find one single instance of something that benefits American taxpayers.
Some of them sound good but when you find out what it really does it is some green new deal scam or a program to help a minority group to pander for votes. - 7 mo

Nothing but minor crap that I see in no way would do any harm to American citizens. At least he never released a entire group of drunkin bar thugs on the general public as trump has done. Where are those lower food prices (now much higher than the worst of Biden's time), how he has stopped two wars (what a fucking laugh that is) and what a joke he is with the rest of the world, ones who at one time were good friends and supporters, then the wonderful tariff plan that is fucking all of the US citizens and doing nothing but pissing off china and other cheap suppliers which happens to be the kind of stuff most of Americans can really afford.
- 7 mo
like this POS? upload.wikimedia.org/.../...1brego_Garc%C3%ADa.jpg
Food prices are indeed lower according to the farm bureau. When Biden was in office food prices almost doubled in 4 years. Trump inherited a mess and it fixing it. Any boob can make prices go up. It is a lot harder to make them come down.
Getting cheap stuff from China is why people have to work two jobs to afford to live here. - 7 mo
You know that is all BS as I'm sure both of us both lots of food (me not only for home, but for the restaurant as well) and there was not much change in food prices during Bidens term and wasn't until this jackass got into office and decided to use his overwhelming intelligence to lower prices when they have almost doubled in some areas. Beef is a good example..
