Sidestepping the illegality... why give Maduro a trial in the US and not any of the illegals?

a lot of politicians would tell you that a day in court is just a formality. you're already judged.
let me put it this way. if a south American was at the mexican-american border and he dropped his keys onto American soil. would you let him cross the line? you'd have to arrest him, take him court and spend a lot of tax money on the same result. he just needs to get back across that line. it doesn't need to be complicated.
the cost is inconsequential. it's the principle.
you can't hold a non-citizen to the constitution. that's stupid, but they do have rights as people.
It was Maduro's leadership (socialism/communism) that caused the displacement of 45% of Venezuela's population.
While illegal immigrants broke the law entering the country, it was never truly about prosecuting them. It was about removing the burden on our system. The actual cancer that needed to be prosecuted is and will always be socialist/communist ideology.
Im not doubting. But there's international law.

Why does an ilegal need a day in court? Should we lock ilegals up in prision for 20 years while they await trial?

It is likely not to be considered illegal since the purpose of the Executive Branch is to enforce the laws of the United States. Maduro has been charged with federal crimes since 2020.
It's only "illegal" from an international law perspective. As for how that is incorporated into US law, I can't say, but this sort of thing happens often - illegal or not. You're old enough to know that. Trump's targeted invasion of Venezuela isn't much different than the targeted "invasion" of Pakistan to kill Osama bin Laden and especially isn't much different than what happened to Noreiga 36 years ago.
They are entitled to due process. In the case of illegal aliens due process is limited to proving that they do not have legal right to be in the country
The Maduro “trial” is self serving political theater for Cankles McTacotits, Republicans, and the US oil cartel.
He's being charged with a crime, the illegals are not.
They don't need to be charged with a crime to be deported. Being an illegal alien is not a crime, it's just illegal. I don't understand why this is so hard to figure out.
Yes they do. 5th and 14th amendment. "Any persons detained require the government to provide a person with notice and an opportunity to make their case in court before depriving them of life, liberty, or property"
I know you magats would like to add "unless brown skinned, trans, or just makes say ick..."
Well the Supreme Court disagrees with you. So did Obama and Biden when their administrations deported people. So did probably every other president in US history.
They are not being deprived of life liberty or property. They are simply trespassing and being kicked out. It's the same thing that would happen if people were trespassing on your own property. If you tell them to leave, they have to leave. If they don't, you can call the cops who will also tell them to leave. They are not being deprived of anything. They are just being made to leave.
Stop being so damn stubborn. Countries all round the world do the same thing.
The illegals are being deported not sent to prison, yes they are held in detention centers while awaiting deportation, but they are sent home as soon as immigration can be rid of them. Maduro on the other hand will probably die in prison.
Maduro is a big name. Trying and convicting him provide disincentive for other leaders to misbehave. I do think there are crosshairs on Ayatollah Khamenei's back.
The 5th Amendment does not apply to illegal migrants. They have no constitutional rights and should not have any.
The 5th Amendment only applies to United States citizens. And I suppose, permanent residents. No other persons are subject to the laws and the Constitution of the United States. And you know that, don't you?
I see you let proof.
he's going to be given a deal... not exactly a trial
Still batting 1,00, I see.
Why is it that you libtards are on the wrong side of literally every salient issue since Trump was elected for his second term? Hmm?
The correct side is crystal clear to those not afflicted by TDS.
You need help. Get some.
Maduro is a major narco-terrorist and the (alleged) leader of a country at loggerheads with America.
Do you know the definition of a "show trial" and do you know its purpose?
