He probably won’t go to prison. It will be a show trial, to make an example of him and hopefully give the Venezuelan people time to get Gonzales or Capriles properly seated, or another candidate elected. However, since they didn’t take the VP, and he appears to be holding out for Maduro’s return, i wonder if any good will come of this at all.
Frankly, it looks like they’re lining up their shot to install a “democratic” figurehead that will favor the US in trade negotiations. Pull one figurehead. Watch them install his own chosen successor. Pull that one too. Watch them install another cartel appointee. Then turn to the world and say, “See? We tried! Guess we have to install someone WE approve now.” 🤷🏼‍♂️
We’ve seen it all before. Everyone with more than 30 IQ knows it too. The problem is that THIS is the kind of “socialism” that the dummies who decry it so often actually love. Our tax dollars funding military action that directly benefits US corporations to the tune of billions. Don’t feed hungry children, but make sure the fat cat capitalist pigs keep getting fatter!
