One person deleted my comment on their question after I wrote “You should not believe everything you read online.”

I can understand why somebody would feel like deleting an offensive comment. Making derogatory comments about a persons race, religion, physical appearance, nationality, ancestral background, possible LGBT status or disability is offensive.

I personally just don’t see anything offensive about what I wrote. I just wrote “You should not believe everything you read online.”
That is all I wrote. I just wrote a sentence with 8 words.

It's not offensive nope, because we all know that not everything we read online is real, because the internet is a platform for everyone, which means everybody can write an article for others to read, and it's up to you to choose if you believe it or not...

Generally, no, if it was meant as sincere advice. However, if it was a swipe at a person’s source, yes, it could be construed as unnecessarily critical. Most of these idiots do no research at all. Most of the rest rely completely upon sources that exclusively serve their narratives. Despite these unfortunate facts, almost everyone who can’t debate the facts attacks the source in an attempt to deny credibility. It’s a lazy and shameful tactic. If that was your intent, it’s absolutely offensive. Find a better source and post a rational argument.

People on here delete everything because they're allowed to. The "men give life" troll roaming around on more than one account at the moment is great at blocking everyone and deleting their comments. Some people just lack the guts to be stood up to or disagreed with. There are a lot of delicate snowflakes.
