The democrats are trying to hold on to every single potential voter by starting lawsuits to keep ICE agents out of their sanctuary cities and are stirring up the crowd to continue to impede ICE agents from doing their job. They did a good job getting 20 million illegal aliens to come into America. now they have to hold onto them.

There have always been undocumented immigrants in this country but the numbers have tripled over the past 30 years.
3 to 3.5 million in 1990
8.5 million in 2000
10.8 to 11.7 million in 2010

Still, 10.5 million is barely over 3% of our population.

They didn't used to be a problem. Historically, they came here to work. Many industries like farming, construction, and hospitality depended on them.
Some worked as gardeners or opened restaurants and became entrepreneurs.

I hired day laborers on numerous occasions and was impressed by how hard they worked.

And Democrats did the worst thing by handing out free money, housing, driver's licenses and social security cards to non-citizens, and trying to make it legal for them to vote. If it wasn't for that stuff, migrants still wouldn't be a problem, aside from the few who engage in criminal behavior

Again, in the past, migrants came here to work, not for handouts. Fuck handouts.

I don't think we need to arrest and deport those migrants who work, support themselves, and benefit our economy.

I am opposed to hunting down every single person who doesn't have proper documentation. Some of them have been here so long that their children who were born here are fully Americanized and only speak English.

ICE should be focused on free loaders and criminals. I see no reason to have paramilitary squads terrorizing honest, hard working people.
Trump has gone overboard on this. White nationalists love it but it's not the America I ever imagined.

Will ICE be disbanded once all the illegal immigrants have been expelled, or will its duties be expanded to focus on citizens whose opinions the government doesn't like. For instance, could there be raids on people who are deemed to be antisemitic for criticizing Israel and supporting Palestine?

The problem is, ICE is a federal paramilitary force. It seems like a violation of posse comitatus. It is not accountable to citizens and doesn't not have the same restrictions as police.

In regards to immigration, there should be easily obtainable day passes and work visas. And it should be easier and less risky for people who live here to gain citizenship. It shouldn't take years. Our immigration system has been screwed up for decades.

I call them your agricultural work force, your carpenters and house builders, your lawn care business owners, your restaurant kitchen workers, ANY JOB that requires working in the heat and oppressive conditions, lost skills like tailoring and seamstresses and so on.
