He was the creator of the comic Gilbert. A few years back, he called for racial segregation and said white and black people don't seem to mingle well. This resulted in his comic being pulled from newspapers and him basically being cancelled.

I didn't know he died. I knew he was dealing with cancer. That's sad. I always liked his Dilbert comics. I was sad when they stopped publishing them on my fav web comics app.

Scot Addams had a lot of opinions. I don't really know much about them, I never really followed him. I'm pretty sure I herd that he became a strong anti Trumper. I did see a video where he talked about how he saw some studies that showed black people don't like white people. So he decided that he was just going to avoid black people. I don't know what else he said on this topic, but I thought that was kinda silly. I'd hardly call that "advocating for segregation"

Also it's kinda messed up to say "person who had opinion I disagree with is dead now, I hope they are in constant torture for all of eternity"

He was not a strong anti-Trumper, actually he was quite at odds with several of them. I watched a few of his coffee podcasts and couldn’t really tell his position. I got the impression he argued more for the sake of arguing. 🤷‍♂️
