Mr. Pretti was helping a woman ICE pushed to the ground. That action caused a pack of ICE maniacs to begin beating him. At no point did Mr. Pretti reach for his legal weapon as they were wrestling with him. No angle of any of the videos shows him doing so. Yet they murdered him. Trump immediately began spreading lies about this horrific killing and now I see Kristi Noem lying about it, too.
In a normal democracy the government would call for an investigation and depending on the outcome the involved agents might or not get punished.
But the US is no democracy anymore. The government doesn't care what happened, all they do is lie and put the blame on others and whoever doesn't support them is their enemy and they'll fight them to their death.
The system that is supposed to stop this shit from happening is broken and millions of people have been brainwashed into believing that this is ok. Reading the news coming every day from the US just makes you feel depressed.
They don't even take shooters off the field. Most cops go to a desk

I'll go first. Constitutional violations have been going on since the birth of the US. How much it is dependent on timing in history. Secondly, Trump will only be in power for 3 more years. Thirdly, when you study the rise and fall of empires, when a rising power challenges the dominant one, global powers inevitably become more autocratic due to the need for self preservation - it's part of the cycle, but to claim there's no democracy WHILE not even living in the US is like me saying Spain is going to hell because there's too many tourists buying up properties and driving the locals out.
We have questionable acts by a questionable President, but "exactly [in] that direction" does not equate to heading towards Fascism or something else. We Americans love our freedom here on BOTH sides of the aisle. Trust me when I say that even if a Hitler came to power, he won't survive very long when a country has a proud history of gun ownership (in fact it's in the US Constitution "right to bear arms").
Further, the MAGA camp only represents a fraction of the entire Republican and Conservative voters in the US. The Democrat party is at a 16 year low in popularity in the US and they're trying to figure out what male vs female is, along with need for pronouns.
... Trump is many things, but just because they're riskier moves on the chess board by a leader, it does not mean they're necessarily going in the direction of autocratic - this is why we have term limits and the right to bear arms to protect against all this.

Anyway, you seem to mostly get hung up on the phrasing "no democracy".
When I started with what in a normal democracy would happen, I wanted to point out that the US is exactly not that anymore. Yes it might still be a democracy, but you can watch it feel apart in record speed.
And saying that it's not going in the direction of an autocracy when Trump filled all the important positions with his clowns who will say yes to anything he wants is a bold statement.
I don't care enough about this to counter a wall if text with another wall of text that then will get an even bigger wall if text as response. I'll take your point but it won't change my opinion on the general state of the US. Let's see what is left of it in 3 years. If it turns out you be less bad than what I'm saying then I'll happily admit that I was wrong 🤷♀️

Further, your argument is that there are signs for a democracy that prove it is going downhill is for the most part wrong - ever hear the saying "don't judge a book by its cover?" Refer back to my previous points that throughout US history, it's always the same critics and criticism over and over again who say that the US is in "decline", "it will never recover", or in your case, "no democracy", blah, blah, blah, blah.
They said the same thing during the Vietnam War, the 2008 Great Recession, Franklin D Roosevelt's time (he too had autocratic tendencies) during/post WWII, and many many others.
Additionally, you point as evidence that he's putting his own goons in positions of power - so sorry, but EVERY US President that has ever existed has done this. The only difference is the magnitude of "yes" men is it may be higher compared to previous Presidents.
You're obviously not familiar with how the US system works, but nearly every single position of power in the US government has term limits. In short, people cannot remain in power after a certain amount of years.

Not sure about the details, but as a rule of thumb, You are not supposed to obstruct government agencies, unless they clearly overstep Your rights as a citizen (though even then, You have to make peace with the idea of dying at their hands).

Due process is what would await those they capture. The only due process applicable to those people is a check whether they are actually illegally in the USA. If they are, they are to be deported. That is because they are criminals already, by the "virtue" of being illegal migrants. Therefore, this check serves as the sentence at the same time. If they are in the USA legally, they are to be released. That's all there is to it.

ICE fails to do the checks right thougg as seen multiple times. There have been cases where it was not possible to enter a ICE detention center to provide the documents they wanted. If ICE wld eb doing their job correctly they wouldn't kidnapp youmon the street and get you to a concentration camp before you even have the chance to provide what they want to see.

Also, it is not the US government making those people illegal by law - it is themselves, by entering the USA illegally in the first place. It has nothing to do with Nazism. As for the ICE, they are not Trump's private army, they are tasked with deporting all illegal migrants. They are doing it best they can, avoiding bloodshed as much as possible. There is no similiarity between the Gestapo/SS' indiscriminate murder and terror and the methodical deportations done by the ICE. Sometimes, bloodshed does happen, but again, I believe the root cause of all this is the experiencr the right wing had with Charlie Kirk - ever since His death, any armed leftist disrupting the ICE is considered a potential hitman and disposed of - the majority of the left did not help that issue by celebrating His death. In the case of Renee Good, all She had to do was to step out of the car instead of running over the ICE operative (purposefully or not, it does not matter). Therefore, their actions are not executions, they are at best misuderstandings gone wrong, at worst lawful, if potentially excessive, use of force against perceived threats.
As for bringing criminals to justice, as soon as there was no doubt Trump is a criminal, I would support sending Him to jail regardless of my appreciation of His actions against turning men in the West into prey. I do not find it likely, though. He is experienced and knows how to stick to the law. Except maybe the overdue pedophilia allegations regarding the Epstein Files. He might have done that, wealthy businessmen tend to hold a misguided belief that they are allowed to do more than an average citizen could. Even if He did, though, I don't think He could be legally tried for this after all those years. Couldn't happen in Poland, at least.

If their own party sees them killing innocent white americans, they could start to be against ice or wanting to regulate it further. so they need to depict them as terrorists and try to justify their killing. if you believe renee good was trying to run over ice or that the dude Saturday was a terrorist, you don't care about their murder (or as much). but if you know they were either an innocent bystander (for renee) or a harmless but maybe annoying activist (for the other one), you'll get a very different opinion.
