For general patrol officers, the results of utilizing BWCs has been mixed.
We’ve seen criminals arrested rightfully despite their claims of profiling, corruption and brutality. All lies that have gotten how many dirtbags let go in the past?
We’ve also seen dirty cops truly brutalize suspects, plant evidence, falsify documents and even victimize completely innocent people.
There’s no reason to believe that federal agents wearing body cams will be any different. The hard evidence is work for and against both sides. But it will take the guesswork out of investigations and it will overrule the absurd bias that we’re seeing from both sides.
