Have you noticed how in America, it is common for most people to be users that most people consider the action bad BUT not the person?

It is sad. Most people here are manipulators, users, etc. yet when you tell someone how someone used you, most people don't consider that person to be an asshole, just not trustworthy or they say,"I can't say much cause I don't know that person." But if you tell them that person stole from you, beat you up, etc. all of a sudden, they take your side and say"That person is a piece of shit." It is so common for people to be assholes that mental gymnastics are done and it has to be an extreme.

Absolutely. I met a girl who was 17 at the time on my last year of college and we hit it off big time straight away, like id never had any real luck with girls before but we connected so strongly as though wed been dating for years. We were never apart. It turns out that she was my half sister, we only found out after we had married and had two kids.

My father was a player and he had knocked up my mother out of wed lock cheating on his wife so I have dont have his last name and hed done the same with her mother a few years later in another town and she was cheating on her husband and she kept it hidden from each other. I had a relationship with my father and everyone knew I was his kid, hed be there sometimes for me and was paying child support. Anyway I introduced my wife and her mother when we were in town and theh knew each other, my father bluntly told me that there was a good chance my wife was his daughter as hed been with her mother years ago. My wife said it was balony and confronted her mother who confirmed but begged her not to tell her husband. DNA test confirmed it. Was a very hard time for us and though nobody else but us knew we tried to separate but couldn't. I mean we were together for 7 years, married for 5, had kids, a mortgage the works... the damage was done.

So what we did was we packed everything up and moved 3 states away and have never been back since and made my father and her mother promise to stay quiet about it. My father doesn't really care but her mother was disgusted and very vocal about it but had to unless she wanted her husband to find out that she was cheating way back and that his only child and daughter isn't his and that she married and had kids with her brother. So if things go to plan this secret will be taken to our graves.

Well that, and it IS expected that people learn from their mistakes. No one feels bad for someone who repeats the same mistake over and over again. Like for example you'll hear a lot of women on this site commonly say, "I've been cheated on by every guy I've ever dated". And all you can do is this 🤦‍♂️. Because a person with half a brain would have wised up after guy 2 or 3 of not after the first guy. But those types of women NEVER take responsibility for the role she plays in a relationship. She never takes responsibility so she never learns and repeats it again and again.

People would be a lot more forgiving if more people used common sense.
