I don't agree with the owner's belief's, but he has every right to do what he did. The person confronting him was foolish. Odds are there was more than one TV in that bar, and he could have asked politely for the halftime show to put on one of them. If the owner were to refuse that request, the customer is free to leave. There was no reason for any other verbal exchange.

That said, the reverse situation was reported in several bars where maga's got abusive towards the manager and were told to leave. Their response was a tirade about being un-American, un-patriotic, blah, blah, blah.

Point is, if you don't like the venue, leave. No need to make a scene or name calling.

Now I'm a liberal/independent, and I support the establishment's decision to do what they want. So all you maga's who think just because I'm not on your team I wouldn't support the right to run you business without being harassed, can screw off. :)

That's a bit complicated. I mean, if the only issue was this customer calling the bar ownee racist, it would be stupid to ban him - in fact, show him that he's accepted - pecunia non olet. However, since it is kind of clear at this point that the customer was one of the fanatical leftists and was therefore a threat to everyone else in the bar, I support the bar owner in His decision.
