I think the two most powerful in the world would be Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Japanese Prime minister Sanae Takaichi.

I would place these two because they are leaders of G7 nations.

You could argue Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum or European Union president Ursula von der Leyen but personally I would say Meloni and Takaichi are the most powerful women in the world.

It is interesting that it’s thought that women are mostly inherently left wing but these examples counter that.

but I would point out that when it comes to power, being the possibility to act... Sheinbaum in Mexico definitely has the "power" to actually decide on most, if not all things... because her part has the majority on every scale, and the biggest popularity from the people as well

but, that would be a power that reflects inwards... and not outwards on the world scenario

also... fair to say that her part is also a very VERY Nationalist one, since... "Nation first" is definitely a thing for them, populists like never seen in a 100 years or so

but again, it all depends on how you perceive these semantics, lol

"Hondarus"? Looking at GDP which is a good metric if you ask me. Japan has the 4th highest GDP in the world. Italy is the 8th. There are other metrics too, but I don't think this is an unfair assessment.

I would say that in a way Meloni is a rather realistic woman. She is not in favour of leaving the European Union, she supports Ukraine, she has welcomed immigrants.


In the public imagination, this is not really what the anti-EU nationalist right wing stands for, etc.

Most women I've known are not left wing. Yes, they support some liberal policies that deal with childcare, maternity leave and health care, things important to women, but overall are conservative about most things, economics, being responsible for one's actions, working, etc.
