It just makes me think of that stage of WW2... before the USSR invasion.

I know a lot about WW1 and what a dumb war it was and how all the blame was put on Germany and their economy was destroyed... leading to the bitterness against the treaty of Versailles... that helped lead to WW2.

I know it was a bit personal with France.
