they grew up with religion, but realised that god is dead. they never left their basic christian beliefs, though, so they secularized it and now either socialism is their new christianity etc, or nationalism is their new islam. both are monkeys either way. keep in mind that nationalism was invented by powerhungry people without blue blood, so there's also a large part of just general megalomaniacs there. but to be fair, socialism is the system most (peaceful) megalomaniacs prefer, bc it allows them to put themselves on top of every single industry in their country. ever thought ceo's like elon musk were useless drags on their companies? socialist leaders, including powerful presidents and the like are the same but multiplied by 1000. diehard collectivists are some of the worst of the worst.

Women have always been collectivists because they have needed assistance in pregnancy, birth, and nursing. We can blame evolution as female collectivists were more successful in having surviving babies and hence became more dominant in the gene pool. More individualist women died in childbirth.

As society is becoming more feminized, female collectivism is showing it self more.

Cancel culture is recognized to be female politics (as in Mean Girls movie) hiting the big time.

The world is worse for it of course.
