Trending & News As probably one of the few here that was part of the bombing the shit out of other countries in that part of the world... this is what it is about for me.
Every fucking terrorist group and army that had me spending 6 months at a time doing cirlcles in the fucking ocean for was being funded by Iran. The Iranian people are basically a worker class that wasn't receiving any benefits from the riches of Iran... that went to terrorist groups and anything anti-American or Isreal.
So in that small respect, yeah Iranian's women's freedom isn't my main reason, but if it's a bilateral consequence, so be it... we need to get this over with. And if you give a fuck about Ukraine... This is knocking out Russia's supply of drones as well.
With that said... I'll vote yes.
I'd have loved to have had Iranians get rid of Khameini, not Trump.
@beefcakebradybatson I agree... Same goes for Venezuelans and Maduro in the past, and Cubans in a probable near future. Just not how seems to play out with these dictators.
They take the people's guns and make them poor, get all the power, and then they can't even be voted out. The people have no power like that, after that point.
For all the people that Just hate Trump because of his demeanor, they fail to see any of the good with that myopic viewpoint. He put together a good team... Trump might be gloating in all the glory, but I see Hegseth and Rubio as the real reason all this is getting done so well. Trump plays his role, and takes all the bullets the Liberal-Hate-Machine fires in their direction... for the most part.
Trump is swindling those folk as he does Americans. He's a grifting bas*ard !!!
@beefcakebradybatson That statement requires a lot of qualifiers to be true
... and then I'll compare it to what we got during Biden with the question of "In what ways?" in mind for the comparisons to start taking place.
i do personally. but let's be realistic liberating iranian women is not why we are warring with them. Just note how MAGA treats Mamdhani's (mayor of NYC) wife. they call her a terrorist among other things when she is nothing even close. If MAGA doesn't like an female American who's muslim why would they give two shits about iranian muslim women at large?
@Cidknee she liked posts that said
"“Breaking the walls of apartheid and military occupation"
"Resisting apartheid since 1948"
neither statement explicitly stay she is a terrorist or celebrates terrorism... but she is muslim, and she is a woman, and she did like a post in reference to a day that israel was attacked although the post does not state they support the attack. but yup she's a terrorist... flawless deductive logic (smh)
Bombing them them and turning their countries in rubble isn't "freedom" it's genocide
I just happened to see this on X and thought of this post:
“ Every day now, Tehran and Iran wake beneath the sound of explosions and fighter jets.
Is it frightening. Yes.
Have we been torn out of the rhythm of ordinary life. Yes.
Is death possible for us, for our families, for the people we love. Yes.
But there is something even more terrifying than all of that: this storm ending, and the terrorist Islamic Regime occupying Iran still standing over our homeland.
That is the part the outside world keeps pretending not to understand. They suddenly discovered concern for Iranian lives now, now that war has reached the sky. But during the Jan uprising, during the great massacre, during the blackout, while innocent Iranians were hunted, tortured, and buried in silence, most of these same voices said nothing. Not one cry for Iran. Not one word for our dead. Not one ounce of rage for our stolen youth.
So spare us the performance. Spare us the counterfeit pity draped in anti war slogans. We remember exactly where your voice was when Iran was bleeding in the dark.”
For us, the deepest nightmare is not the sound of war overhead. It is the thought of waking after all this, and finding the occupation still alive.”

This attack on Iran has zero to do with women's rights. If the U. S. gave a fuck about women's rights, it wouldn't be allies with Saudi Arabia.
Women in Iran have a 98% literacy rate and 60% of university graduates are women.
Under Iranian law, women are mandated to observe hijab, which requires them to cover their hair and body in public. While they must cover their hair and ensure their clothing is loose-fitting and modest—typically using a headscarf and a long overcoat or manteau—they are not legally compelled to cover their faces with a burka.
There is no law in Iran that prohibits women from moving freely in public spaces, shopping, or traveling domestically on their own.
Women are legally allowed to drive cars in Iran and can obtain driving licenses.
.
You do realize that no one actually gives a flying fuck about Iranian women’s freedom rights?
If it was about that this invasion would have happened 47 years ago.
This IS all about the oil
The logic being that war time would see a rise in the prices but once Iranian oil is rerouted to the US it will create an abundance of supply which will lower the prices and boost the economy
This is the only reason anyone ever goes to war
Religions, rights, freedom, these are all the excuses we tell ourselves
All wars these days are for G. O. D (gold, oil and drugs)
$200.00 dollars a barrel huh? I can only GUESS where you pulled that dollar figure from? From somewhere the sun doesn't shine.
I don't care about 2,000 dollars a barrel. I have been driving an electric, car for 10 years and just bought another one and I charge at home with Solar and Storage battery
Higher oil prices make everything more expensive
I knew the haters would be bitching about Trump even when he saves lives. You can't make this crap up. 🤣 A little fact checking for you: The highest oil has EVER been is $147 a barrel, in 2008. Only a dumbass would suggest that prices would go higher than that for Trump saving the lives of Iranian women.
Also, those women were likely going to be executed for their actions of not worshipping their terrorist national anthem. Women's lives don't matter to you? Freedom to not sing/support national anthems don't matter to you now? All "freedoms and rights" go out the window when Trump supports them? Asylum rights mean nothing to you now? Refugee/Immigrant "rights" mean nothing to you now?
I'd say nice try, but it really wasn't. Pathetic rage bait. Congratulations.
I care more about the women in my country being attacked by illegal immigrants that Trump still hasn't deported
yes, I'd pay that to free them for a while, turn the thermostat down 5deg and ride my bicycle.
What those countries do to women is abhorable.
But to free them, probably have to kill off a lot of men. That will be way more than $200 a barrel.
The oppression of having to wear a head covering doesn't warrant me going bankrupt
Oil has never reached $200 per barrel, and the standard Brent Crude price has dropped from around $120 to $95 as pf 1630 EDT (2030 UTC) on 10-Mar-2026.
The goal of the military action against Iran is to prevent it from obtaining nuclear weapons and ICBMs that could deliver them anywhere in the world. Any social changes that may or may not result, such as more freedom for women, would be an unplanned, but interesting, consequence.
It is far bigger than that. It is about nuclear weapons, a thorn in everyone’s side, the petrodollar, money from oil sales, controlled oils sales to certain states, knocking BRICS on its head, freedom for Iranians if they want to take it and a bit more.
I don't think that is a very good question. First of all, it doesn't specify the timeline. For how long will oil be $200 a barrel? Weeks, months, years, decades?
Second of all, oil probably won't skyrocket to $200 a barrel. It's only $85 now. Let's make a deal: If oil stays below $200 a barrel you will concede you were wrong. If it reaches $200 a barrel, I will concede I was wrong. If you refuse that, it's because you know that odds of oil reaching $200 are pretty low.
Another problem with the question is that it suggests that that Iran was primarily about women's freedom. It suggests the cost benefit analysis is simply between the cost of oil and women't freedom. But truthfully, it its more complex than that.
That AND the toppling of a major supplier of Russia, China and every terrorist group including Hamas.
The only reason oil shot up was because we were retarded enough to rely on a regime that wants us destroyed for an essential resources instead of drilling for it ourselves.
Yeah, it would be, actually. But with the Trump administration's lack of political knowledge, planning and resolve, it won't happen, I'm afraid. Just look at Venezuela.
I think Trump is playing a canny game.
1. Pushing Europe to handle Russia.
2. Kicking China out of Panama
3. Stopping Venezuela oil to China
4. Bringing Iran to heel
As it stands China has lost two primary allies and it's weapons have not worked well in Pakistan and Iran. There is far less chance of Taiwan invasion which would be a major disruptive event.
We don’t need to worry about the price of oil…. We all will be driving electric cars soon anyway. Oil is so yesterday.
Do those women even want freedom? It seems whenever those countries are 'liberated', they always resort back to Islamic fruitloopism, fairly quickly.
well lets agree muslim women don't want to cover their face and neck!
Not directly. Not to me. Also i support trump war on iran which is your point.
LOL, you need to liberate American women first, kiddo.
Hypothetical. It will never reach that with willing Alberta, and sort of willing Venezuela nearby.
brilliant that is why trump swapped out venezuala last month!
I guess it depends if I marry an Iranian woman or not lol
What the FUCK are you talking about? The US attack was never about freeing anybody. LOL Are you really THAT stupid? lmao It's about oil and profit, you idiots.
I will say yes, though I don't know how much a barrel of oil USUALLY costs
If you think that's what this war is about then you haven't been paying attention.
Yes. Sorry NO country should be a theocracy.. End of story, end of discussion.
LOL, well, it's around 90 right now
Sure. I have a short commute.
Buns of freedom
Free the Buns
It is not our business.
Can't put a price on life
And what about the lives across the world that will be ruined by the price spike?
Only if they use public transportation.
This aged well.
Yeap fine by me.
Paying more for groceries and gas is less important to you than women you'll never meet on the other side of the world?
No, but the oil is. Give it a few days.
It’s not $200 liar
