I wouldn't be surprised.
People will not be happy about higher fuel prices, which will lead to higher prices on almost everything.
There will be an immediate shortage of fertilizer which will impact farms and food production.
The money Trump supposedly saved by imposing tariffs is wiped out and the national debt will increase.

One of the main reasons why people voted for Trump was his promise to not start any wars. Then he turned around, attacked Venezuela, put a full embargo on Cuba to starve its people to death, threatened to invade Greenland, and then attacked Iran for no reason.

After being attacked, Iran has destroyed U. S. military bases in the region and we had to withdraw from them. Many U. S. military personnel have been injured and killed. Some of our very expensive radar equipment and aircraft have been destroyed.

The Strait of Hormuz was open before we attacked. Now Iran closed it, is using it as economic leverage, and controlling the traffic that passes through.

Gulf States are questioning the effectiveness of promised U. S. security and looking to greater alliance with China and even Russia.

Expensive and hard to replace anti-missile defenses have been depleted and $billions in military assets and weaponry have been destroyed.
Weaponry that was in reserve to defend Taiwan has been wasted in Iran war and China has not failed to notice.

Basically, Iran has made the U. S. look impotent.
Trump also looks foolish for attacking Iran with no foresight or strategy.
People of the world are seeing the U. S. increasingly as a threat with no respect for international law.

The majority of Americans don't support Israel and realize that we went to war simply because Trump is Netanyahu's bitch.

From what I observed on social media, some of his supporters/voters aren't happy with the Iran conflict, they are pissed and feel betrayed they voted for America first and got Israel first. It has even led to some in fighting between MAGA (not all voters are MAGA, a concept Democrats can't comprehend) with MAGA's that support Trump on Iran accusing the one's that don't as not being real MAGAs, which is funny cause no new wars is one of the reasons they were MAGA. I had a gut feeling something like this would happen which is one, turns out all the hate was worth it.

In all fairness to Trump, I wish you would be more accurate. Trump said no more “forever” wars. A month or two in Iran, hardly compares to 20 years in Afghanistan.

The Iran conflict is unlikely to be over by November, or by early voting. Trump starting that war in a similar vein to Putin in Ukraine will not sit easily with voters. We also have the GOP unwilling to come to a compromise on the ACA resulting in the longest government shutdown and a rise in healthcare costs. There are a lot of reasons why there is likely to be a blue tsunami unseating some of the biggest Trump republicans and giving the left a majority in both chambers of Congress. We see that the Texas gerrymandering failed to help them, it did the opposite, while the blue states that gerrymandered in response, will probably benefit the left as well.
