My experience in NYC suburb was bad. All but 2 were white included a few jew families. But the 2 African families gave trouble. Not tie their dog, also no tall fence. it jumped a Jew's low fence and scared some kids. A kid (age 9 catholic when i was 8) yelled at me "you killed jesus" and his friend held him back. A few days later he actually punched out one of my jew neighbors- so- in conclusion - we "tried not segregated" it just doesn't work.

1) what "new attitude" you are referring to and;

2) what this has to do with the question.

Where I live in Canada I've only seen a few black people my entire life. There's lots of other types of people here though. I married a woman of a different race, and I have a mixed race son, so I'm definitely not a fan of segregation.

No, but the government cannot force low income housing in the suburbs. People work hard to move to a nice town and the government has no right to import exactly what these people have left behind.

No, freedom of association is important. If people do or do not want to be associated with someone for any reason they should be allowed to make that choice.
