You need to sleep or take a shit at somepoint. From there get old and can't take care of yourself and if you can't ask for help you won't get it.

Even if you are by every measure a better person but don't pass it on to the next generation you are effectively worthless less then nothing without a village of people just getting by.

As an individual person there is a limit of value you gain contributing to being a "better human."

A more village collective approach with whatever meaning of a "better human" is a better future for humility.

      Think of potential dilemmas.

Do you hunt more for food or stop before winter to make winter coats to hunt in the long winter? As a man you can't do both. So what do you do?

Be as obtuse as you want getting the answer to the question you asked.

You're the one dying alone when your kids don't want to see you. That's how you want your legacy to end your business. Just don't expect anyone to care or even remember you existed after your gone.

@naultd Sounds like all of it. You are ignoring the qualifiers thst led to the question. The question never states men are "better people" it qualifies by asking if A is True than is B true. Because it offends you, you ignored the qualifying and are pretending to answer a question never asked.

I think I was a pretty good parent. I spent a lot of time with my son. I don't protect elders. I also don't think most guys prioritize their children to the extent that I did.

Mainly because I was in a position to leave my full-time job, and go work part-time so I could take care of my son more. I became his primary caregiver, and I bonded with him more than my wife did at the time. A lot of men have to work full-time, and because of that, they often bond less with their kids. Some of them will even abandon their families and not care too much about it. You really have to spend time with your kids in order to be close to them.

@Hiker_011 Well actually statistically speaking children who are raised by single fathers tend to lead more productive lives than those raised by single mothers.

@Spencer10 That is known as an argumentative response. You dont like the info presented to you so you attempt to deflect by asking the author to prove something to you. This provides you with a sense of control while simultaneously distracting the audience.

@Spencer10 TY for sharing. So what you're saying is this question makes you feel bad however deep down you understand it has merit (or why else would you take the time to respond?). Instead of providing an answer, you've decided to attack the author which is another common deflection tactic. However the original question doesn't take your feelings into account it simply asked based on the evidence presented does this make men better humans. Which judging by your answer you obviously believe so.
