The general idea behind my saying this is that I think taking away the human rights of other humans, regardless of how vile, loathsome, and disgusting their actions are, sets a dangerous precedent to say that anyone who doesn’t agree with your moral standards perfectly is worthy of death. Taking away the humanity of other humans is fucked up.

Like a way to temporarily reconcile morals and instincts. Even a ritualised way to tie up society, looking at how such themes seem to make most people suddenly agree about the killing to come. I feel that traction too, within, and I fear it in return.

I think it's one of those things that's would be used to appease public frustration and would never apply to the wealthy. It's considered a mental disorder, but depending on how someone acts upon determines what the criminal charges would be, and this is where it gets messy. Obviously, sexually molesting a child is a severe criminal act and deserves a specific punishment. I'm not convinced it should be death.

I think it depends. If it's one of those weird looking ones who clearly was born with some kind of brain defect, they should live in a community for that or be chemically castrated.
