What are your thoughts on Canada's Halal KFC controversy?

I don't like Islamization either, but come on.

I live in the U. S. and I don't recall ever seeing bacon in KFC anyways. They have before on limited time menus, but it's not a staple. As for the chicken being halal, it's healthier and more hygenic, so I really don't see what the issue is. Surely they wouldn't complain if it was "kosher", which is the same thing.
Also, it's a private company, so they can serve what they want. Also, Arby's stopped serving turkey and no one cares.
Literally if they didn't use the word "halal", they wouldn't even care or notice the difference. I don't like Islamization either. I've had halal food many times. There is literally no difference in taste. The only difference is tenderness and how the chickens are raised and killed. Why would anyone be against healthier food?
Unless they start forcing EVERY restaurant to be halal, I see no problem with this.
