My view: Yes, it is fundamentally anti-women.

If the argument is that women need abortion to be equal to men, the implication is that women’s natural ability to become pregnant is a liability or a defect that must be neutralized before they can compete. That does not sound pro-woman. It sounds like measuring women entirely against a male standard and treating motherhood as an obstacle to success. True empowerment shouldn't require women to reject their own biological reality to fit into a system designed around men. Real respect for women should mean honoring women as women, not treating pregnancy and motherhood as problems that must be eliminated.

Who said the right to abortion is about being equal to men? That doesn't even make sense. It's just another twisted argument to support right-to-life fetus fetish. "That fertilized egg is a HUMAN BEING!!! 😭😭😭"

I would argue that contraceptives make women equal to men sexually since they allow women to have sex without fear of pregnancy. It liberates women.
But the kind of men who want women to remain virgins until marriage and then have lots of babies even object to contraception.
They would argue that women's rights are actually anti-woman because it is women's nature to be dependent upon and subservient to men. They don't think women are competent to make their own decisions.

No it isn't and I say this as someone who is very anti-abortion. Women's equality isn't worth the lives of unborn babies. Pregnancy and raising children does set them back in many parts of life but it's simply how things are. Women and men don't have to be equal to have a society where both are respected.
