Why would anyone tell you that?
A few years ago, a town in New York State required every resident to state whether they owned a guy or not, and published an online map showing which houses had guns, and which ones didn't. Guess which houses were then robbed? The online map was removed from the Internet but copies of it can still be found. 🤨
Thanks for MHO

No. I'm Germany that is basically pointless. Cause unless you're a hunter you can't take it anywhere except for the gun range. Plus the gun safety laws here are so extreme that if you shell out all the cash and invest all the time for the applications to own a firearm and the ammunition (which is no small feat), you then also have to be ok with unannounced safety inspections where someone comes to your house without announcement to check your gun safety standards. And if you don't abide by that or if you don't meet the strict standards once they check, they'll take your guns away.
So I knew someone who had all that in place. When the gun safety people came to his house, he wasn't there but his son was. So his son wanted to be a good boy and show the regulators the gun safe and the guns. But according to the regulations, he shouldn't have been able to open the gun safe, which the son didn't know so he lost his guns that way.
So yeah. I see no reason to deal with all that.
I'm armed and ready

There isn't much water left, but there's enough lemon in it to blind attackers. Then I'll fire up my modular handgun
Yes, quite a few. This year I bought 3 and about to buy a fourth. I haven’t added a new guns in over a decade so it was time for some new ones. I just bought:

"Gun" Yeah.
Small caliber precision rifles and two high caliber hunting rifles. .308 and 7.92×57mm.
I have a firearm license and could own a modern pistol or even a single shot assault rifle but I don't need that here.
Black powder firearms are obtainable without license here and you can kill with a.45 black powder cold revolver like with modern 10mm pistol.
Yup. I have collected several over the years. My dad gave me my first one - a Ruger 10/22 - when I was 16.
My friends used to go out target shooting in the desert a lot with rifles and handguns.
I used to go to the indoor pistol range, too. And I also got really good at trap shooting.
I reloaded my own.44 mag and 12 gauge for years.
I like guns. They are fun recreation. And I have them for defense, as well, even though I don't expect to ever have to use one for that.
Practically every country's laws allow civilian ownership of firearms, but they tend to need a good reason and that they be kept safe.
"I'm scared of all the people around me who have guns" is not a good reason, and wouldn't be true in most countries anyway.
I've got a sig 556 a 357 long nose, ppk and a Beretta m9 amung other things inherited from my grandfather. I'm looking for a different handgun to carry that's more accurate than the m9 but a little bigger than the ppk
Anyone against guns are clearly against the gun community and have never bothered to talk to gun enthusiasts or even shoot a gun! Just visit your local gun range at least once (not to protest or be a burden) before overly stating your opinions! what you'll find is a community of patriotic individuals who use their firearms in a save and productive way to protect their families, neighborhoods, and nation. Its a lot of fun! At least experience it before you try to rip it away from everyone else
Yes we have guns in our home and yes I do carry one on occasion such as times when I am leaving the restaurant with the cash deposits, but not generally
I am in my 70's the only gun that remains in the home that is mine is a Marlin bolt action 410. I believe it is long chambered. My son has a.380 and a Glock that he alternates carrying.
Not any more I lost it in a boating accident.
I live in England. Only the non-natives are allowed to arm themselves.
You can even own some semi-automatic rifles, but not to "arm" yourself.

Not currently. I do own guns, but i didn’t bring them with me to California because the laws here are absolutely ridiculous.
I think I have Guns 'n' Roses Appetite for Destruction CD under the house where my wife puts everything.
My current country doesn’t allow it so I don’t
But where I grew up let’s just say I’ve seen guns outside of movies and video games…
One shotgun it’s off in the other bedroom. I’ve never touched it in so many years so much for home protection. I’ve only got my fist and most people would do a home invasion probably come in with a handgun
Did you know that burglaries in the US are down from 1,250 per 100,000 population in 1990 to 250 in 2024?

Yes. One of the perks of living in America not Britain.
I have 5. One in my side pocket.25 with hydroshock. It won't tear your arm off, but it will get your attention.
No I don't have a gun. I have 27 guns at the moment. Guns are specialized tools.
i was approved for a gun license and used it.
Nope. I don't see why I would ever need one and the laws here are also very strict on them.
Yes, I have a pistol and a shotgun. I have them locked up and I have permits for them.
I wouldn’t own a gun and I don’t even know how to shoot a gun
Indian streetcops also do not have guns.
Always curious when people outside the USA ask this.
When I lived in the USA, I had many guns. Now that I live in a civilized country, I don't need one.
I don't but I have no problem with those who do
Nope and no need for guns either
I wish I could conceal carry.
Yeap. Several.
Maybe
