He is threatening tariffs over the Canadian wildfires claiming it’s poisoning air in the US.

We don't care anymore. Besides it's just more import taxes on Americans. I guarantee you Carney isn't even listening to him now. This isn't about the smoke anyway. Trumpty Dumpty doesn't care about pollution. He's having a toddler tantrum because we're buying our weapons from someone else now instead of the United States and because we're trading with the China, diversifying, and forming other alliances. That's the real reason. He wants Canada to be a vassal state and it's not happening without a fight. You don't submit to bullies. You stand your ground, even if that means dire consequences.

Yeah, Drumpf is out on a limb with that one. Though you might expect his climate advisors, if he even has any, would let him down in this regard. More than likely he is still hung up on California’s deplorable handling of their wildfires, and comparing the leftist regimes controlling both.


It is bad though. I have family and friends in a few midwestern and eastern states and they are all reporting that the air quality is really bad.

The tariffs are more about everything else Carney has been saying over the last few weeks about being aligned with Europe and Asia and the changing world order and not being interested in making a trade deal with the US.
