Should we reinstate gladiatorial combat to the death?

If not lethal fights, what about non-leathal historical sword duels where it ends in first blood or a minor injury like in France. You have to sign an agreement you want to participate in the leathal or non-leathal gladiator/sword dual.

What should be the prize for the winning the entire event or how should we structure it? Should we throw the prisoners doing a life sentence and let them fight for a second chance at freedom? The model Trophy wife/husband sitting in front of them being fed grapes? Or a $200 million cash prize?

It will take place in a beautiful golden dome. I was thinking money or a reduced life sentence.

We should keep it non-leathal duals with minor injuries
