The economy is just an excuse. The countries with the lowest fertility rates are often Western countries that provide generous social support to mothers. Among the reasons, I'd point to the decline of traditional values, increased female labor force participation, and greater acceptance of homosexuality.

I suppose that when you close your eyes for the last time, it won't be your grandchildren gathered around you, but your cats and dogs instead. There was a lonely man like that once—people only realized he had died because the smell from his decomposing body started bothering the neighbors.

probable cause woild be social programming. The society i am visiting seems to have large numbers of hppy children that want to have their owm families.

Im torn between empowering and also that kids are just hella expensive. Women are no longer beholden to just have kids anymore even when we dont want them which is great and these men who complain and call it a psyop for example have no clue what they are talking about. They just want women, barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen and those days are gone.

It's just a natural outcome of the big human brain taling over from older more primitive instinct. It was inevitable. People are more educated. These women want to go out and see the world. But, those children will have to come from somewhere. We better start funding research into artificial reproduction.

Considering the quality of a lot of the women in todays world? I'm actually thankful they're opting not to have kids. Having kids are a big responsibilty. And if you're not going to love and care for the child you SHOULDN'T be having one.👍
