It's historically inaccurate, and holds no logical baring (a superpower that loses everything?)

It's that sort of loaded political question that implies either a lack of intelligence or individuals who are deeply misinformed for likely political reasons.

Ok in a case like this there is a third possibility. It could be that the account holder has an agenda.
Now he (assumption on my part) could be a total idiot or uneducated on the subject but is easily disproven. First question, we fought the Germans AND the Japanese in WWII. If we lost why aren’t we speaking Japanese or German now? If they beat us wouldn’t they have taken over our oil rich country? Before WWII Japan bought oil from us and it takes a lot of oil to run a military.
I digress…. It’s my opinion that his agenda is to make America look like a failed nation. It seems to be global phenomenon. Look at all the Europeans that came to the U. S. for the World Cup. They were all amazed how wonderful the U. S. is…. Their home country media convinced them that the U. S. is dirty, lots of crime and a dangerous place to go. They all found out they were lied to.
