I mean incels have always been pretty much objectively bad people. It's sort of like asking "are assholes/jerks the new scapegoat for society to beat up on?" The original most literal meaning of an incel would be an actual involuntary celibate but the meaning has evolved to mean far beyond that.

At this point it basically just means a guy with absolutely no life who hates women and everything about them because he can't get a date and so it's easier to just disparage women instead of working on fixing their flaws. And as such he does things like join several online spaces exclusively dedicated to hating on women and follows people like Andrew Tate.
