I think most of us cry a little especially when we lose someone close, or something very bad has happened to us, but is it acceptable for a man to cry at work if he's not performing as he should, or something similar has happened to him, or is he being too emotional, and he should accept the situation like a grown man.

If s guy is crying because his mother died, or crying from happiness about winning the Super Bowl, that is perfectly fine. If he is crying because somebody put mayonnaise on his hamburger, then he needs to resign from the male species.
I feel bad for men who are hurting so much that they can’t stop themselves from crying in public.
I carry a great deal of resentment that there is still absolutely no understanding for men like there is for women. Women can cry anywhere, anytime and in front of anyone and everyone will swoop in to console her and rescue her.
If a man breaks down even once in public, he better be f*cking Superman or he will be made a pariah. The general consensus is that men who can’t regulate their emotions perfectly at all times are, at best, weak and, at worst, dangerous. Neither of which have any place in the society we have created. This is at the very center of why men and boys suicide at more than four times the rate as women and girls. When you tell men that they have no place in society because they failed to regulate their emotions even once, then they understand that their only option is to remove themselves from that society.
I think it depends on the circumstance and the person. But overall I beleive that it's acceptable for anyone regardless of gender to express or feel. I personally tend to keep my emotions tucked in and if I have to cry or punch a wall I will do it when nobody is watching.
If you feel like crying, just cry. Doesn't matter if man or woman.
If males or females go to see Black Beauty movie, they should both cry.
That's not just because of the cost of the show and popcorn, but the movie content.
It's okay when a man cries when a family member or his dog dies, otherwise are tears cardinal weakness and won't be forgotten and forgiven.
not like you need to ask for permission...
people who need to cry... will just cry
Everyone is different and crying is emotional. If a person needs to cry go for it. I would never judge.
guys shpild only be seen crying if there is a death of close one involved.
If it's over a serious loss then it's ok for men or women to do it
It’s not socially acceptable for either.
Yes, there are always circumstances for it.
