Why do some conservatives react so strongly to pronoun usage?

It's fake outrage tbh. They use pronouns all the time for themselves and others, just not trans people because those conservatives are hateful creatures who have been brainwashed to hate others who are different than them. If they don't want to agree with trans people on certain topics then fine, but they could still treat them with respect and they just don't. They cheer when trans people have their rights stripped away just like they will if gay rights are stripped as well.

If it’s so minor then why would people get upset and cancel people if they refuse to use them? It’s no big deal right so why get so upset over someone not using your made up pronoun?

The outrage comes when people try to force their sick views and sgenda onto other people and their kids. Nobpdy cares if you feel like a non binary cat, the issues start when you try to force other people to call you a non binary cat, try to teach their children that maybe they’re a zeself fox or try to gain access to female bathrooms and if anyone questions that are labelled bigots who can’t accept a man wearing a dress as a woman. Keep your mental illness to yourself and let other people (and their spaces) be and people won’t have a problem with you.

So you asked why people react strongly, look in the mirror about your feelings about people "forcing religion" which is again, another tangent not related to your question.

After all the talking, you're failing to understand that I agree with you about pronouns being forced upon? Also, correct English is always changing. Do you hear anyone refer to a lady as 'dame', or to money as 'dough', or to sex as 'hanky panky'? Did you know 'flip your wig' means losing temper?
