Using memes isn’t actual policy or basis of anything, there are political platforms you can research and look into from the following candidates:

Mamdani, Hamawy, Jackson, Nixon, El-Sayed, Talarico from California to New York to Florida to Texas, there are plenty of Progressive voices you can look towards.

Not to mention history. Research President Theodore Roosevelt’s accomplishments and agenda, you’ll see how far the Progressive Moment has fallen out of favor slowly building themselves up on a platform that anyone can subscribe to.

The real world situation is, The Democratic Establishment is flawed, currently there are Progressive, Democratic Socialist, and Far Left gaining traction because they speak to constituents who have been silenced and ignored for too long.

All people want, if you remove Red or Blue labels they simply want a place to raise their family, ability to provide for their family, a place that provides care for their family, education, a sustainable living with steady pension, ensure that what you’re putting into your body is safe, criminals are off the street, and so on.
When you speak directly to the American people and don’t make it about your opponent, or are able to redirect it to the constituents, making it about their needs then you win your races.
I’d like to see more candidates who have that mindset, drive that you must be a public servant. A public servant where you get pushback against controversies, pushback against not fulfilling promises, and pushback, constant demands met to keep constituents’ best interests at heart. That’s the Progressive, Democratic Socialist difference.
If more take chairs of power in red states, Republicans and Establishment Democrats only have themselves to blame. I for one will be voting in favor of those working to get my interests met not simply wanting to preserve capitalism for their own interests.

Republicans hate Progressivism due to it being a driving force towards a non establishment Democratic Party and one more productive towards Leftism.
MAGA wasn’t a thing till Donald Trump came down the golden escalator in 2015, he ran on Drain The Swamp and made momentum towards changing The Republican Party for the next decade (and more since he doesn’t leave until ‘28).
Establishment Democrats don’t want this because they want what mainstream Republican Party wants, consolidation of power to the top 1% and doing their interests at the expense of their constituents.
I hope to one day see an election cycle where Democratic Party is so good and so productive that there is no other choice but that party not simply due to it being the lesser of two corporate whore devils.
