Worst decesion i ever made was trying to help a wiman getting beat up in the street by a man. Turned out was her husband. Both turned on me and a brother arrived. Police arrested me for assaulting two men and a woman. Never again. Judge threw it out.

To work for the company i did for over 20 years. It was both the best and the worst decision. They treat thier employees like crap. They don't pay very well either. But on the flipside when i started thier stock value traded at 13 dollars per share. And they matched my 401k contributions up to 4% with thier stock (later after the safe harbor act passed at 6%). The value of the stock has consistently smashed the market avg. Compounding at about 21%. that means it has doubled in value about every 5 years. The last 5 years. has seen still better returns which is good since that's about the time i parted ways with the company. But now the stock is worth so much that the stock pays me twice in growth what the company used to pay me salary wise.
I look back on the years i wasted at that company and think how much more i could have gotten working for a company that truly valued my worth by paying me a salary that reflected it. But then i look at the value of my stock in that country and think, there's no way i could have done that where anywhere unless i'd moved cross country. So, it's worked out.
I could retire just on that matching stock contribution i was given.
The worst decision I made was selling the first house that I bought because it would’ve been paid off by now and it was affordable at the time without struggling now it’s a struggle to make mortgage payments on the third house I’ve ever gotten. I guess the best decision I made was the job that I still have because it was stable the entire time for 24 years With decent pay
Worst? Trusting the government to do it's job.
The best? Ensuring i won't need to rely on them again.
Best, quitting HS in 10th grade and joined the Navy
Worst, not staying in till retirement
Worst. My ex wife
Best. My present wife.
