Texas for sure. None of the others were at all shocking
@LazerBean I was a bit shocked on the Muslim Brotherhood guy winning Michigan.
I mean, he cares mostly about Gaza and Black voters (who get jealous quick) still voted for him ๐
Yeah, I agree. Though at the same time, the last 2 elections Trump barely won Texas. I wonder if it was all the refugees from CA who flipped it.
It's still weird though, because my entire life Texas has been synonymous with being the most Conservative state
Nah, it never surprises me when Democrats vote in a Muslim lmao. Dems love people that genuinely hate them.
But I have no doubt that it was either California or Michigan refugees that turned Texas. We live in a red, pretty conservative area, and sadly that is the majority of people who move here ๐ they move here, comment on how nice everybody is and how they love it here and how shitty their home state was. Then vote for the exact same types of people people and policies that made their home such a shitheap. I'm so over it.
Pretty much. Yeah, I don't get it
That is very true.
I live in a county that is red.
We have had a large influx of people from my state (which is liberal) main city, and all of a sudden my workplace is no longer safe.
Yep, there you go.
The texas thing by far, especially since it wasn't even close. Talarico really blew Paxton out of the water. After that would be El Sayed being elected and half of the new governors being women.
Quit overusing the term "historic" makes you sound like a drama queen. I'd say electing a terrorist to the senate was the most outrageous.
