Asking a teacher to Prom?

Hey guys I really want to take my teacher to prom, I've been into him for ages already and as I am leaving I really want to. However, I'm not sure.. some advice would be great.

P.S he is only 9 years older then me

Yeah. I'm pretty sure that's considered highly innapropriate, not to mention bordering on illegal.

Probably not illegal unless unmentionable things happen at the prom (very unlikely) ;) but the school management will not like it and there's probably a provision in the teacher's contracts and the school rules for teacher's rules against such behavior. Q.A. will thus get a NO.
