So I watched Crazy, Stupid, Love and this quote has stuck with me. What do you think? Is it true? Is there even a battle between the sexes? Is this statement misogynistic? What does it even mean to win the battle of the sexes? I want opinions from both guys and girls.

I don't know ... I think men have always had the one up.

But pole dancing could be a "win" for the ladies too ... If she finds it sensous and fun, plus gets in shape ... she could have more self esteem, better sex, better health, etc. I don't see sexy dancing as degrading.

I think guys had a chest beating moment when "cumshots" to the face became an accepted norm. THAT is degrading.

Well, I have the cynical perspective that this is a man's world, so I would have to disagree. Men won the battle of the sexes...from the dawn of man. They get all of the jobs, they make more for the same job that women do, and they get more immediate respect. What's good about being a woman? I guess the longer life expectancy, child support, and chocolate. That's about it, imo.

you drank the liberal kool aide didn't you? Women also are starting more businesses then men by a gross margin, and they still choose to enter or re-enter workplace or raise family and this accounts most of the pay difference the Liberals love to spout out so much.

Men won for this Pole dancing example, Also for the fact women now swoon for messy hair, unshaven face, sloppy clothes look (hoodie, etc), We won because of the low self esteem ingrained in so many ladies we can do and say whatever we want and most women just take it. its sad, and I for one like a feisty lassy.
