My boyfriend always brags about his money, should I send this text?

I am poor, I don’t have a penny but I can survive. I don’t understand why my boyfriend always brags his money in front of me, Sending me videos showing lots of cash, pictures of travelling. He knows I don’t have much money. But why he still keep doing this? Just now he sent me the video of a bunch of money, and told me he’s going to the club. What’s wrong with him!?!?

I wanted to reply “I am sorry, I don’t really understand this. You always showing me your stupid money. What for? Are you trying to tell me how happy you are? Or sharing your life with me? Or telling me I should be like you, or saying I am pathetic? What is it?!”

That's really weird. I've never heard of this happening before. It's difficult to tell what his motive is, but if he's your boyfriend, then surely he wouldn't want to make you jealous or feel insecure...

Unless he thinks it will attract you to him? But then he wouldn't do it in such a flaunty way.

Are you a student, or are you working? If neither of those, are you looking for a job?

If you're working or you're a student, then it seems like he's trying to show off that he's "doing better". He might have confidence issues. If you'r doing neither, then it could be a strange way to rub it in that you're poor because you're not trying. But if that was the case, he should be trying to motivate you, not put you down :-/.

I have a stable job with average salary. My life is pretty fine and wonderful. I don't rely on anyone. I??ve known him like that before we are together. But I don??t know he brag that much ! his car, his house, and money, cash, travel I don??t know what??s wrong with him!

believe this or not money does not bring happiness, its those who are around u that count. look at the celebrities that commit suicide take drugs and get drunk why do they do all that? i know this has nothing to do with your bf but i wanted u to know money isn't everything.

take pictures with your best friends that money can't buy show him how much happier you are or maybe get closer to god i dont know just find something that makes u happy and rub it back in his face :) one day he will learn money is nothing if he sees how happy u are
