Do guys like teaching girls things?

I've heard that there's something about guys that makes them really enjoy being useful, helpful, etc...

So do you guys like teaching a girl (a friend, someone you like, etc) how to do something or teach her about an interest of yours? or do you find it too time consuming or pointless or something?

If they are legitimately interested in something then sure I can go on an on about a lot of things. If it helps her to understand something, or learn about something new that help her along then yes I like that. If she's just doing it to act interested, then it comes off a little patronizing. It needs to be genuine.

If they have the brain power to understand the new concepts and we can have a great conversation on it then it makes me feel she is more on my level intellectually and that's a really good thing. If she she struggles really hard at the basic stuff over and over and just doesn't get it, then it's kind of agonizing.

If she's genuinely interested in something that I enjoy myself, I'd have no problem with teaching her of my interest. I think a lot of guys do enjoy it because they feel like they're being acknowledged and it's always a good feeling to know that you are.

It can get time consuming or annoying after a while, I'll admit. But overall yes I do like teaching girls things, especially if it's a girl I like. Especially if it's an interest of mine, cause then it's sharing an interest in something, or at least her taking an interest in something I like.

Of course not. I'd be more than happy to explain it or try to rephrase my words..myself, I sometimes need further explanation to understand or become familiar with something.

It is definitely enjoyable as long as we're both focusing on bonding and having a good time together rather than trying to actually learn/teach something.

Teaching a girl to throw a baseball or just the rules of the game while going to one is something I will enjoy doing one day.

No I wouldn't think she's stupid, if you show a genuine interest and ask me, jesus christ I'll be in heaven! Being able to teach a girl something I love and sensing a sincerity in her interest makes me go crazy! In a good way. :)
