Relationship between two submissives?

I desperately need advice on this. This isn't the first time it's happened to me. I really like this guy whom is a submissive, and he had a crush on me, but I don't know if he still does. Today he came over and told me straight up that he doesn't think our relationship will work, even though we're technically both switches with submissive tendencies. I had already said I'd be his dom, but he... well, let's just say I don't enjoy emotional pain.

What do I do? Is there anything I can do? I really want him to speak to me again and give me a real chance, but I need to know if this will work. I think it will but I see no information anywhere pertaining to s/s relationships. I'll do anything to win this guy back. HELP!

I know how to be dominant. I've had to be a dom before. I do enjoy being dom. But he still turned around after saying I make him extremely happy and rejected me.

Honestly, a relationship in which the man doesn't wear the pants is destined to fail. But that doesn't mean you should be a weak woman either. Don't let some ignorant insecure boy degrade you ever. Support your man and his dreams and help him out, but be prepared to give him the business when needed. remember if someone truly loves you they will risk not being on your good side so you can get yourself together and apply yourself. But do not be a doorman, a good virtuous woman is also a strong one and does not have time for games or mess. So I say give this dude the deuces because he sounds a bit unsure. And if you know what you want don't waste your time and move on. People come into our lives for a season and for a reason. I think his season is up so move on. Be good to yourself and others, and a good man, one that is truly worth having will find you.

One of you needs to learn to be dominant at least most of the time if it's going to work.

I'm personally a switch with dominant tendancies and as such like women who are switches with submissive tendencies. As you and he must know, sexual compatibility is one of the most important factors in a relationship, but then you also need to be comfortable in your role.

I know you might not like to hear it but it doesn't sound like the two of you are compatible. You sound like you love him now, but if you become dominant to suit his needs you will be neglecting your own and over time it will become more of a frustration than a pleasure, unless of course you can become comfortable and enjoy the new role.

If that's the case then the best thing to do is let it go, for whatever reason he doesn't want to be with you and so even if you manage to talk him back into a relationship it's doomed to failure at a later time anyway.

Do you really want to put both yourself and him through that?

Let your emotions out, this one didn't work out for you. Pick yourself up and try again.

I'm a heavily dominant man. I'm not happy with dominant women. Thankfully, most women are submissive like you. You just need to keep searching for a dominant man. Life is such a beautiful thing when you have someone happy to play their role, instead of forcing you to be something you aren't. kheserthorpe said basically the same thing.

May he wants you to be unpredictable and a little more extreme with dominance...You know spice it up a bit. He may be board. Hope this help. But if you bot keep being dominant or submissive at the same time it's never going to work.

My advice is to find a guy who is naturally a dominant.

They are out there. Wishing they had a submissive.
