When a girl beats a boy in a sport, lets say wrestling. Her victory is celebrated. And that's seen as an example of "girl power." But if a boy beats a girl in wrestling he isn't celebrated. Shouldn't we celebrate him for winning? And aren't men and women supposedly viewed as being equal by society? So shouldn't we celebrate him for beating his female opponent?
I doubt eskimos celebrate it when male seals have more meat to eat than female seals.
I doubt @BoobSlayer celebrates it when women have bigger gazongas than men, although he probably doesn't celebrate the reverse either.

I feel like when it comes to athletics men are more superior in sports than women that’s why are sports are more physically challenging. If a guys beats a girl in a certain sport it kinda like yeah you should of beaten her. I am all for equally in the workplace and in public but I feels sports is a different game. We also have more different spots that women like we have baseball while you have softball. In baseball the balls is smaller, goes faster, use wooden bats and fields are bigger while softball is a bigger ball, you use aluminum bats, and the girls are less than 300 yards.
They aren't because naturally most (if not all) men are stronger and physically more capable than women and so when women manage to defeat a fellow sportsMAN, they're so celebrated and cheered upon because they must be either 1) really strong, 2) have great endurance and/or 3) great will.
The opposite version that I could think about (not a sports thing though), is when it's single father vs single mother. Single father is seen as admirable while single mother is many times seen as a woman who got knocked up by some a-hole.
Girls besting boys is abnormal, guys beating girls is meeting expectations in our current patriarchal society. Men are supposed to be the stronger, tougher group meanwhile women are the weak and frail group. When women win, it’s a shift in the status quo, men winning is keeping the status quo exactly as it is.

They're not equal. You really want him to be celebrated for beating that weak ass bitch? Men are waaaay stronger than most women. He beat her by barely putting any effort in, why celebrate that? While the girl probably put her heart and soul into busting her ass trying to manhandle him. If you want to reverse the roles, celebrate him sticking a landing in cheerleading. Celebrate him putting makeup on successfully and it looks amazing. Celebrate him standing up for himself. I don't know things that I feel like girls would be celebrated for lol. Have him do something girls would do.
It is unusual for a girl to beat a boy in a sport since they are weaker and less athletically able than boys on average so you could argue that the celebration is for something that was a longshot and a longshot victory is always a little sweeter.
But the deeper answer is that political brainwashing has taken over the society so that certain groups are considered angels, who can do no wrong, and perpetual victims and one group (white males) are considered devils, oppressors and the root of all evil. So any time someone from one of these "victim" groups defeats the evil white male, they push a celebration on everyone to remind them of how they are supposed to think. It's brainwashing. And they love doing it to our kids so by the time they are 18 their heads are all full of this mush and they are easy prey for the Democrats to get their vote since the Democrats make believe they stick up for the fake "victims."
Look at you, so proud of yourself for 'beating feminism'. Celebrate that you won, no matter who you beat. But you would also celebrate harder when you win while being the underdog, right?
Be glad that men are considered better at sport (which they are). To consider beating a guy in a sport is used as a sign of girl power one must first consider guys to be better at that sport. Stop whining.Sports exist in a realm outside society. It is more a display of our primal/tribal selves than our social selves. And what we mostly like to see, in the absence of having a specific person to cheer on, is an underdog story. And when it comes to physical competitions women are generally the underdogs.
It depends on the matchup for me.
In a coed event, I'd cheer for an underdog guy coming out on top of a field of women who are favored to win.
There does seem to be some social stigma around the subject, but again, for me, it's all about the matchup.
Who says they are not celebrated. They get the scholarships that should have gone to a girl and they get their names in all the record books even though they are a cheat.
Cause we are better then women and just win!
However trans losers have to take away those women's sports and destroy Thier scores cause they can't compete with other manly men in Thier sports so they are cowards and go for any record they can.
All have huge issues and get in trouble outside of Thier sport
If we are talking physical sports, past puberty there is generally a huge difference in strength between male and female athletes of the same weight class. Because of this a girl beating a guy can be akin to a welterweight boxer defeating a heavyweight. This physical difference is why we have seen stories of boys' under 15 soccer (footbal) teams defeating women's national teams.
Women beating men in sports isn't celebrated tho. It's banned. Like, historically. When women joined any sport and started beating men, men banned them & then only allowed them back in separate category years later. 💀
Well besides wrasslin and bullridin, I just so happened to catch some boy beatin all those girlies in a swimming event. Said he was a she now, but my peepers seen a dude just a whistin by all those whites and chineses and blacks with their pillowy parts. It really stirred my kettle somethin awful.
Underdog wining is celebrated, man beating women is not celebrated as men are stronger.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/URz-RYEOaigPeople love when the underdog wins.
Maybe you should do some actual research on gender equality instead thinking it means men and women are physically the same?
Because it's less expected when a girl wins most of the time
It would hurt the guy's ego too much for him to acknowledge that a woman was a formidable opponent in the arena of brute strength. Even worse to lose!
Because males have an unfair advantage over females when it comes to competing against each other physically.
Because its easy for a man to beat a woman. at least on avarage. Thats like celebrating an adult for beating a child...
It's weird victory is gendered at all.
If you allow coed competition, then winners are owed a celebration regardless of their gender.Girls are in biological disadvantage towards men. We are stronger and have easier to build muscle so girls are expected to lose. If a girl wins its something unusual so people celebrate it.
nothing quite like people who believe in equality enforcing double standards
Should we give throphy to somebody who ran faster than an infant?
Men are faster and stronger than women. Not really a match. If a woman wins, it is noteworthy as it is very unusual.
