Lewis should retire. Come on, he'll be 40 next year the only thing he should be driving is a mobility scooter. I don't know what Ferrari are trying to pull, but they're not known for competent management. It looks like they fumbled the negotiations with Sainz.

Someone will pick Sainz up, he's become quite a competent driver and unlike Hamilton he can have many years ahead of him. Aston Martin are looking for a replacement for veteran Alonso.

What are you on about? Lewis who is 39, finished 3rd out of 20 drivers in 2023 competing against 20 year olds and is a 7 time champion. He is also the most bankable star in the sport and in a sport where cash is king, you need a star who can drive merch sales, ticket sales, and bring in sponsors because it helps your team. Compared to Lewis, Sainz can't do all of that which is probably why they jumped at the chance.

I'm hoping Sainz will go to Audi when they step in and they can build up the team around him because he's a great driver, but Ferrari, LOVES LeClerc like he's the second coming, so its best given the circumstances, he go somewhere where he can be top dog.

*Please note, unless an actual miracle happens, Ferrari will bungle this. Their track record is so deep in failing legends of the sport, maybe with the exception of Schumacher, that, well, good luck to Lewis. Can't wait to hear him calling for a pitstop and their "checking."

He says he met with Lewis prior to announcing and he understood the move. I mean, what else is he going to say, eh? Lewis has the right to leave and according to statements today, it is Lewis's childhood dream to drive for Ferrari, so there you go.
