i looked up different websites and each have their own counts!
i want to know which one is more accurate?
Google converts it accurately, but people are just too MIND-NUMBINGLY STUPID to know that 5.5 feet (with a decimal) is 5 feet 6 inches (since there are 12 inches in a foot; half a foot is six inches, or 0.5 feet).
That's why when stupid people ask me for my height after I point out I'm a short-sh*t and I tell them it's 181 cm (as I might as well say it in the crappier measurement system, cause at least it's a larger number and makes me feel less girl-sized), they go to Google and then think 5.9 feet is the same thing as 5 feet 9 inches (which would actually be 5.75 feet).
When converting from feet-and-inches to metric, just remember that one inch is roughly 2.5 centimeters.
170 cm is 5'7". 5'8" is 172.5 cm (most round up or down to the nearest whole number). 5'9" is 175 cm. 5'10"is 177.5 cm. And so on...
1 foot = 304.8 mm
170 cm = 5.57743 feet.
Some websites don't extend the decimal that far in their conversions. But there is no way it should come out as 5.7 feet. With rounding you could expect to see:
5.5774
or
5.577
or
5.58
or
5.6
some websites might simply lop off a digit or two without rounding. Hence 5.7
It may be possible that in some countries, people are not informed as to the exact length of a foot and that may factor in somehow. This due to the fact that most countries do not use feet like we do.

Because other is decimals and other is inches.
For example in decimals after 5.9 would come 6, but in inches it goes to 5'11 before 6.
So 170cm is 5 feet 7 inches, but in only feet it would be 5.5 but I don't think that's ever used at least when it comes to height.
1 inch = 2.54 cm or 25.4 mm
A foot is 12 inches. That's 30.48 centimeters.
170 cm = 66.9291inches Round it up, call it 67 inches.
That is 5 foot 7 inches. If you want that in decimals, though I don't know why you would... 5 foot 6 inches is 5 and a half foot. A half is 0.5.
So you have 5 foot 6 is 5.5 feet
Meaning 5 foot 7 would be a little more than 5.5, so 5.57,,,, seems about right.
So it's not that websites are giving different answers, it's that you don't understand decimals.
that's just how decimals work... actually decimals do work well, but it's the English system that complicates it all, and makes it all fucked up, that's why sites will never agree on how to do it.
but also, some sites might be giving you ft only, so that would imply decimals... while other sites might be giving you results in ft and inches
update/edit: just say that you are, five feet and seven inches tall, and this is how you write it
5′ 7″ <<< use those little "check mark" signs
... because websites are programmed by IT nerds - and not by engineers :D
1 inch = 2.54 cm. Do the math yourself for an accurate answer.
Maybe some round it out, it depends how many digits after the decimal point on how precise it can be, probably depends on the input of information too
You are 5 foot 7 inches not 5.7 feet

I dunno, I do it in my head
I haven’t seen that
