Trending & News During a downturn/crash is the WORST time to sell your stock. So, no, you should not.
Speaking of investments, an app I've been using for about a year now, "Fundrise", is offering a referral bonus: https://fundrise.com/r/5noy0p
If you use the link and deposit $10, we both get a bonus $50. That's a pretty good start. Also, this app is about investing in real estate, which is continuing to go up even while the stock market is going down. But $60 for a $10 investment is awesome, and a good start. They have an auto invest feature where you can auto deposit an amount of your choosing each month and it is great, it builds up quickly.
I'm guessing you're using Robinhood or Webull or some other app. You're likely using a cash account and not doing actual day trading.
I wouldn't recommend you use it at all unless you've got several months of experience with a demo account.
i use Robinhood
Then it's a cash account. You can't legally day trade in the US without having at least $25,000 in your account. My advice if you want to make money more often without having $25,000 is to switch to Forex (foreign currency). I've been trading Forex for years and the deposit minimum is usually only $100. You can make as many trades in a day as you want and they are open 24 hours a day Monday to Friday. There are several brokers with free demo accounts like Forex. com and IG Trading.
i dont day trade at all
i just have one stock with $394 in it
So you're just testing it out I guess. It sounds like you're not familiar with the system yet.

The market is not crashing. It's in what's called a bear market, which means the market overall is decreasing in value. Just this past week, it actually rose. It's not the best time to sell.
Talk to the stockbroker see what he recommends
