"Video unavailable. The uploader has not made this video available in your country". Why does this happen so often with 'YouTube' videos?

Some YouTube videos are marked to be region-specific, just like many streaming videos and DVDs. Sometimes that's done to avoid copyright issues, and sometimes because its content might be offensive in other regions.
It doesn't.
But you can bypass that by using a youtube download program, or a VPN

that's Australia having way too many restrictive laws... so international brands just decide not to bother, and block Australian people from viewing their content, it is easier for them
copyrights and stuff
Use a browser with free vpn such as Opera or Tor.
It just means the video is region locked, happens on streaming services too such as Netflix, best you can do is use a VPN to make your device appear is if it's the videos region.
As others have said, it's region locked. Just more unneeded governmental control that nobody asked for.
If you get that a lot, then use a VPN and set it to a different country.
😂🤣😂 love this!
Illegal in some way?
Check your settings.
Or ask Google or look for videos on Youtube.
