Anyone able to help me out and recommend me some good gaming laptops? Having a hard time making a decision.
I would suggest that you focus on screen and sound quality, there are very few games which are hard to run with modern technology and for those that are demanding, it is cpu power that you need not gpu.
If all you are doing is playing a racing or a shooting type game anything you buy should be just fine.
Demanding game titles are for example : From the Depths, Stormworks, X4. These games have a lot of physics or other simulation calculations going on which is what presents a challenge to a system.
Even fancy graphics isn't a big deal unless you are trying to display at extremely high resolutions, which you won't be on a laptop.
So as the meat and potatoes of the machine part isn't infact particularly important these days what does matter is having a screen which you are going to be able to see in suboptimal conditions, like when there is sunlight coming through your window and you are sitting on your sofa.
You should also try to get a fast storage solution, the best right now is a pcie 4? nvme drive.
pcie numbers refer to the generation of and therefore speed and bandwidth etc of the flow of information across the motherboard between your storage, cpu and memory etc, more is better, it will mean faster loading times etc.
pcie 3 is still pretty fast and should be considered plenty good enough, its just not the best you can get, though i think pcie 5 along with 5nm chip architecture is in the pipeline, amd already offer 5nm, but there will be some powerful intel stuff coming quite soon, the next couple or 3 years with generation 13? cpus and ddr5 or even 6 ram.
The long and the short of it is that right now is probably not the best time to try to buy bleeding edge technology but thats ok because middle of the road tech that exists right now is likely to be all you need.

Check this one. You can also check reviews on YouTube , i think the harddrive is little but other wise everything looks good.
Normally I'd say building your own is the best possible experience, however with a laptop your customization is limited. Therefore I'd probably go with one that has at least 8 gb of ram, as well as a good enough gpu to play modern games.
I bought an amazing gaming pc for the price you listed. You won’t really find a laptop that’s good like an actual pc

I would take a look at the games you would be playing at use their recommended hardware as a guide.
You can't go wrong with the big brands (MSI/Asus/Acer/HP/Lenovo/...).
And if you only want to play in bed, maybe consider buying the Switch or the Steam Deck.Go for ASUS, Lenovo, Eluktronics, or MSi. Avoid Acer, Dell/Alienware, Razer, Gigabyte, etc., with the budget you're aiming for. Go for the most high end specs you can find within your budget, so Core i9 or Ryzen 9 for the CPU, RTX 30 or RDNA2 for the GPU, 32GB DDR5 RAM or more, 1TB M2 NVME SSD + 2TB 2.5" SATA SSD, Windows 10 (or 11 whatever) x64-Bit, DirectX12 Ultimate & Vulkan API. For the display, either go for QHD 300HZ or 4K 144HZ; I'm not sure what kind of I/O ports you'd like nor can I recommend you the kind of keyboard or chassis, sorry. Don't listen to that guy recommending Acer Nitro laptop with Core i5, RTX 3050, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 512GB SSD because those specs are absolute garbage for 2022.
I've had a couple of them, but the honest thing is that you need to be very careful with cooling, putting it in a bed means it won't be able to cool and this both means the performance goes down and it doesn't last long. A gaming laptop honestly just doesn't work well.
If you are getting one after all, just look for good specs with a good graphics card. If they have the label of "gaming laptop", that just means it's overpriced. Try going to a local website and just filter by good graphics cards and go from there. To be fair, no gaming laptop is really good, compared to a mid level gaming PC. The bang for bucks are just not worth the extra cash.
But if you REALLY must do portable gaming them an MSI Pulse or Acer Predator are in the middle.
Sure you can buy Razor and Origin. But that extra 2k is for the looks and not the gameplay.
i suggest going for a Clevo. Clevo is the OEM that basically builds all the laptos that popular brands like Sager, XMP, MSI, Alienware, Maingear, Gigabyte and many more just slap their label on and resell them for a profit. you can circumvent the middleman by just straight up buying a clevo. it's lesser known and you won't have a fancy label on it. but you get a lot more bang for your buck.
Hi @maiiread my recommendation would be an Acer 17'inch gamer

512 GB SSDAcer, Asus, and the Alienware line from Dell are all good options. There are a few others as well:
A desktop.
Laptops overheat, and for $2,500 you could get a desktop thats more than twice as powerful, doesn't overheat, and plays everything on max settings for the next decade.
If portability matters, get a handheld gaming pc, not a laptop. They are cheaper, more portable, and run games better. It really all depends on the kind of games you want to play. I'd check pc requirements for the type of games you like / want to try on pc and look for a laptop with specs similar or better than that. Personally I dont know much about laptop brands. I jumped on the "build your own pc" bandwagon 7 years ago and never looked back lol
MSI seems to build the most upgradable laptops. And I bought one from a small biz on Amazon for a fraction of the cost big stores charge for that computing power.
If you're on a budget i recommend the Asus Tuf gaming laptops.
If you want to be a serious gamer, you would want a desktop.
If you're gaming in bed, do you really need that powerful laptop? Because I'm guessing you're not playing that high demanding games while laying in bed?
I know nothing about laptops, and if experience taught me something, it's that it's often inferior in performance, and more expensive to buy and maintain.
Changing parts is also more expensive.
Can't speak for now, but when I was in highschool, Dell had the XPS which was among the best. If they have descendents of that, they're probably the best.
Asus probably, although almost all "gaming" laptops are weak
no gaming laptop. get a pc. gaming laptops are an extreme luxury, and you can get the same quality pc for a fraction of the price.
That’s plenty of money talk to a computer nerd a computer game player
Is this for gaming or live streams?😊
Acer brand can be good
