How many years before you buy a new phone?

Mine is 7 years old.. I only will get a new one if this becomes slow and useless.. because I don't use it really to call anyone it is just for social media browsing and texting.. not really worth the price to get a new one, plus I drop this one loads of times and it don't crack or break..
Usually every year.
i just switched to apple’s iPhone this year though so it’ll probably be every 2 years now.
My phone isn’t a year old yet, I still have my old phone (Galaxy z flip 3) which is almost 2 years old.
I will be buying a new phone this year, I just don't know what model. My home button is broke, but I found a way to get around it. My current phone is an iphone7 plus.

I usually wait until my old phone breaks down. My current phone was bought 5 years ago and has no issues whatsoever other than a damaged screen. The damage is small and its still usable.
It's about 3 years old and won't get a new one until this one starts acting up on me or it breaks. Whichever comes first.
Mine is two years old I believe. I'll keep using it until I can't no more.
however long it takes to be unusable. my current phone is 3.5 years old
8 years. I usually try to go around 10-15.
Wow how? Phone usually last up to 5 years
In 2006 I got a Prada LG KE850. I upgraded early in 2012 to a Windows Phone because the Prada gave up the ghost in an explosion. I don't remember the model number, but prior to the Prada phone I still carried the flip phone from 1996 I had, a Motorola StarTAC. It gave up the ghost in a car wreck.
I said I try to go 10-15 years ;) ... but life doesn't give me that high of an average. My windows phone is 11. Battery still goes pretty good. I think it'll hit 13 or 15.
Normally get new one when it break's
