I been hearing so much shit about Ai technology to the point it’s now planted into my brain , a guy I work with just fills my head every day with his philosophies to the point it’s like alright dude , you got way too much time on your hands , but some of the stuff he shows me and tells me is kind of interesting to think about, and now I am hearing this shit on the radio as well and all over the internet , so I don’t really know what to believe anymore. I understand A I technology is pretty advanced and can do a lot of things , but to me it sounds more bad than good, especially with robots that can make us people become way more lazy by creating robots to do so many things for us , So I feel it’s going to destroy society , it’s going to eliminate a lot jobs from people , it’s going to eliminate relationships as well , especially these sex robots they are making that are designed to take care of all your needs by listening to everything you tell it to do , like do the dishes , take out the trash , do the laundry , clean the house etc , I could never imagine myself having sex with a robot period , but if I had one of these sex robots that did all these things for me? I would have to show her my appreciation somehow lol What do you think of this A I technology?

I dont think sex robots are going to be a problem. I mean women have had robotic sex toys for quite sometime.

The big issue I think is going to be the automation of most jobs. Litteraly any job you can think of can be automated right now or will be. So how do you earn money? The government will have to hand out welfare like the Roman empire used to Romans, just enough bread, wine and entertainment to keep the populace satisfied but also passive.

Toys is one thing but having a robot that can interact with you and listen to you and do what you tell it to do is going to distance ourselves from each other more , we as people won’t have to really depend on each other as much , look how most people are today , Relationships are already falling apart because most people are selfish and miserable and unhappy with their lives , thinking grass is greener on the other side , women have become more independent and realize they really don’t need a man anymore they can take care of themselves and do what they want , Most Men don’t want relationships or marriage anymore because he is afraid to be back stabbed or betrayed by his girlfriend or wife , I feel technology played a big part on damaging relationships, people don’t really value each other like they use to back in the day before technology was really a thing , Cheating and affairs seems to have become a norm all of a sudden because people Only really Care about themselves , people have a harder time trusting each other , To find that special someone these days has become a hell of a lot harder , Entering the dating world after my divorce I felt like I walked in the Twilight Zone thinking what the fuck happened to people. I was meeting and having sex with girls’ that were lying about being married , telling me they were single to find out she isn’t , Husbands showing up on my doorstep confronting me about screwing his wife cuz he was secretly spying on her cell phone without her knowing , So I been so lost in today’s society mainly because I was so blind to it when I was married , I never thought I would end up divorced , I thought my wife and I were a match made in Heaven , we were inseparable for a long time , the crazy thing is the second Facebook became a huge trend that’s when my marriage started going down the tubes , My wife was so glued to her phone to the point I started to not matter to her anymore , she was so fixated on every one else’s life instead

Of her own , she secretly started to talk to other guys , guys that she worked with that wanted to fuck her , well the one got his wish to come true cuz he was secretly flirting with her behind my back , but little did he realize my gut instincts knew something was off so I busted them red handed , so yes I feel technology is a big reason why most relationships don’t Make it today because we all have easy access to each other by carrying around these devices that make it easier to be sneaky with each other , pulling us away from what’s right in front of us , I feel robots are going to do just the same or worse in my opinion , Why invest our time and energy into someone we can’t really trust over a robot that looks human that we can trust that only listens to us?

Throughout most of history the majority of people that ever lived have been workers, servants or slaves to a tiny minority and that continues to this day. With automation and robotics there will be less and less need for workers or servants, so eventually no more jobs or income for them. So in this future the lower classes will be given social housing in the form a room a few metres by a few metres. They will be completely dependent on welfare, unable to travel too far, dosed with chemicals in their food, pills and inoculations that will make them infertile or chemically castrated. This is already underway when you look at how many overweight or obese men and women are out there. They will provide entertainment for a doped up population who will eventually just die off one by one.
If you don't have a job and can't afford to buy a car how will you buy a sex robot? Answer is you won't as that would be seen as a waste of resources by those in charge. At most you will be given a vr headset that convinces you that you are having sex.
Within a few generations the population will be greatly reduced and a Utopia created for the top 1% who remain.

No. But the hubbub is probably as bad as when the car replaced the horse, or sword replaced the club.

Technology moves on, it's in it's nature. AI is just a culmination of a few, is all.

But it's no more "clever" than the people who code it. Hence why it's pretty terrible at most things at the moment, and only something like 30% effective at anything relevant to everyday work.

People are going to ruin society, not AI.

Agree , society is already going down the tubes and yes Greed is definitely one of the root causes of it all , on top of other things as well , adding robots to the mix is just going to make it even worse I think we need to do Hands across America again lol or Hands across the world lol Cuz us people are only distancing ourselves from each other , instead of focusing on each other , Most people are latching on to things that they don’t have instead of latching on to what’s already right in front of them. I feel Greed and technology damaged this society to the point most people aren’t content anymore , Most people today are miserable and selfish and only want what’s best for them , I am not saying everyone but a majority of them Yes , The pandemic was just the start of what’s in store for us next , this society has gone to hell in a hand basket
